Favorite Extensions - Just the ones I personally use

AdBlock - Flashing ads distracting you? Right click on them and block them from the source or individually. Absolutely wonderful for ADD people like myself who are easily distracted by flashing things. Also great for people with slow connections - all those ads can take longer to load than the useful information itself.

NoScript - I love this one! Quoting its official description "Extra protection for your Firefox: NoScript allows JavaScript, Java and other executable content only for trusted domains of your choice, e.g. your home-banking web site. This whitelist based preemptive blocking approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities (known and even unknown!) with no loss of functionality... "

SessionSaver - I use this extension every single day at my day job. It saves every open page, every tab, exactly as I left it. I've got five different sessions saved for the five main tasks I need to do so I just open Firefox, open a saved session (eg "server config") and up like magic pop the pages I need to look at: most recent logfile, status reports, admin console, etc.

Web Developer - Useful tools for toggling on/off CSS, forms, images, etc. A great set for developers.

Plus it has scads of other extensions that I haven't installed yet and accessability options for disabled folk that are said to be among the best available.
