Problems installling Tienda - Solved

So there I was with a fresh Joomla install, trying to get Tienda ecommerce community edition installed. Every time I tried to install the extention either as a .zip or by uploading the files with FTP, it would hang and present a blank white page. No error. Just nothing. I changed my php.ini max upload and max execute time as other sites suggest. Still no luck. Double-checked all Tienda's minimum requirements, and realized that when it says it requires Joomla 1.5.x or greater, that does NOT mean that 1.6 or 1.7 will work. Downgraded to 1.5.23 and Tienda installed flawlessly. I should have remembered what a huge shift joomla 1.6 was and the troubles I've had with other extensions not working correctly. Man, I really need more sleep.
